
Greene County sends its high school cross-country teams to Redfield today for the West Central Valley Coed Classic on the middle school grounds. The five kilometers (3.1 miles) event has 13 schools scheduled to compete.
Ram girls and boys coach Jeff Lamoureux will be looking for an upper division finish for the the boys after they placed second at Gowrie a week ago at the Southeast Valley Invite. The girls finished ahead of one team in Gowrie and hope to show improvement today.
Junior Brady Carstensen was the top Greene County runner for the boys with sophomore Nick Black and senior Jaden Koller not far behind. Sophomore Rylee Mowrer led the girls last week.
Starting time is 4:30 p.m.
