The Panora Public Library has a very important informational presentation coming up on Tuesday.

Library Director Molly Allen says that Brad Wilkening will be giving his presentation “Lessons of the Holocaust.” She tells Raccoon Valley Radio what the presentation will highlight.

“The idea behind it, is (that) it explores how we can build a more compassionate world by studying this terrible period of human history. And like I said, it gives kind of a history of the Holocaust, survival stories, and then ways that we can become upstanders in today’s world, how we can use those lessons from the Holocaust in today’s world in our daily life.”

Allen mentions that the presentation will be held in the Panora Community Center from 5:30-7pm. She adds that they do ask that people register beforehand, by calling the library at 641-755-2529.
