The AC/GC Chargers football team is on the road this week, as they head to Corning to take on the Southwest Valley Timberwolves.

The Chargers beat the Timberwolves 40-7 last season, only allowing the opponents to score in the final quarter. So far this season, senior running back Joe Crawford leads the team in rushing yards with 153 on 10 carries, which led to two touchdowns. Fellow senior and linebacker Xander Harwood leads the team in tackles with seven.

For the Timberwolves, junior Walker Bissell leads in passing and rushing yards with 10 yards in the air on one of five throws, and 70 yards on the ground along with a touchdown. Senior receiver and linebacker Gavin Wetzel leads in receiving yards with 11 yards on two receptions, and leads on the defense, with 8.5 tackles and one tackle for a loss of yards.

Kickoff is at 7pm, with pregame coverage to begin at 6pm on the KKRF2 online live stream.
