It’s week 2 of the high school football season, and the Greene County Rams are at home for the first time in 2025. Coach Caden Duncan’s team hosts Woodward-Granger, ranked sixth in Class 2A for a non-district clash at Linduska Field in Jefferson. Both teams are 1-0 with coverage on KG98 and streaming on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com at 6:30 p.m. from Linduska Field and kickoff set for 7 p.m.
Caden Duncan’s Rams were strong in several areas in the season opening 36-20 victory at Boone, including special teams. The coach talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about that. “We work on that a lot. Sometimes we look good because we put a good athlete back there to catch the ball and run, but I think we do a good job from a coaching perspective, and have always had good kickers and punters who’ve worked on their craft. We feel pretty strongly how we’ll match up in the special teams department every week.”
Doug Rieder and Dustin Fouch will be on the air tonight with coverage of the Hawks and Rams on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
