The West Central Valley Wildcat volleyball team picked up their first win of the season then won one more at the AC/GC Quad on Thursday. The Wildcats would defeat Nodaway Valley 2-1, Exira-EHK, 2-1 then fell to ACGC 2-0.

The Wildcats would face off against the Wolverines first, and would win the first and second sets, 25-21 then 15-9 to pick up their first victory of the season. Then West Central Valley would switch their focus onto Exira-EHK, defeating the Spartans in the second and third set, 25-20 and 15-6 to notch in another victory. West Central Valley would almost accomplish the perfect sweep but fell to ACGC in two sets.

Wildcat volleyball advances to 2-3 so far this season, and prepare for a big tournament on Saturday in Clarinda.
