People wanting to take it easy or find some entertainment can join an event going on in Dallas Center today.

Brenton Arboretum Executive Director Melissa Burdick tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the organization is hosting “Family Fun Day,” which will be packed with lots of activities. She illustrates that the event serves as a great opportunity to venture around the area as there will be games, live music, kids crafts, and a special showing by Mini Dreams Ranch, who is bringing miniature animals out for people to see. 

Burdick outlines the Family Fun Day is a free-will donation with contributions going towards the programming for future events at the Arboretum. Today’s celebration is taking place this afternoon from 1-3pm at the Brenton Arboretum, located at 25141 260th Street, in Dallas Center.
