2020 Greene County High School graduate Tyler Miller and his Iowa State Cyclones’ teammates defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday in non-conference NCAA Division I college football, 16-13. Miller is the starting right tackle for ISU and the sixth year senior has been on the winning side of the in-state rivalry in three of the last four seasons. Saturday’s victory in Ames was the first since 2011 for Iowa State vs. Iowa.
Miller’s Cyclones are now 3-0 on the season with a trip to Arkansas State this week for a 3 pm kickoff on Sept. 13. Tyler is the son of Mark and Jennifer Miller of rural Greene County.
