First year Paton-Churdan head volleyball coach Nikki Uebel will have her Rockets in action twice this week. P-C is home tonight in Churdan vs. Eagle Grove in non-conference play, then they go to Glidden vs. Glidden-Ralston on Thursday to open Rolling Valley Activities Conference action.

P-C is 1-2 on the season, but 1-0 at home. The coach told Raccoon Valley Radio she’s excited to see how the Rockets match up with the teams they are playing this week. “It’s really going to be an opportunity to see where we’re at.” The Rockets opened the season with a three set victory vs. Collins-Maxwell, but have dropped matches at Storm Lake St. Mary’s in four sets and at Manson vs. Manson-Northwest Webster in three sets.

Eagle Grove is 3-6 on the season and G-R enters the week at two wins and three losses.
