The Guthrie County Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.
The Board heard from Mental Health Advocate Brett Michael on his role in helping with different cases going through the legal system. They then approved a tax abatement for a parcel of land in Yale that’s being used as a well and water treatment area by the city of Yale.
The Board also approved the second pay application for the storm shelters, and heard an update from County Health Services Director Jotham Arber about Public Health working on transitioning from their current electronic health system to a new one that has basically the same services, at a lower price.
The Board then approved two resolutions regarding Living Roadway Trust Fund grants from the Iowa Department of Transportation. One was for $10,000 and the other was for $3,000. Both grants will be used in setting up another spray truck for work in road ditches.
