On Tuesday, volleyball action was in Stuart as West Central Valley played host to the Woodward-Granger Hawks. The Wildcats would look at an uphill battle, falling to the Hawks 3-0.

Woodward-Granger would come out of the gates firing on all cylinders, defeating West Central Valley 23-9 in set one and 25-8 in set two. Looking to bounce back from the first two sets, Macy Long, Addilyn Richter and Lillian Gilbert would begin to rally for the Wildcats, but would fall short 25-15.

Now 2-9, West Central Valley won’t return to action until Thursday, September 18th, and have plenty of time to rest and prepare for their next opponent, the AC/GC Chargers. Wildcat volleyball returns home next Thursday, with first serve scheduled for 7pm.
