Greene County has teamed up with a company to handle drainage district business moving forward.

At their September 2nd meeting, the Greene County Board of Supervisors, approved an agreement with AgriVia for drainage district watchmen services. The decision comes after the resignation by Drainage District Clerk Michelle Fields. The agreement stipulates that AgriVia will continue to interact with county landowners and contractors and will process work order requests, facilitate repairs, and provide expertise for agriculture drainage. 

Additionally, the Greene County Auditor’s Office will be the main point of contact in the Greene County Courthouse, during regular business hours of 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. AgriVia will also have staff on hand at the Auditor’s Office on Thursdays from 8am-4:30pm. Contact the Auditor’s Office at 515-386-5680.
