
The Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be holding their library programs this month again.
Program Director Shelby Van Horn mentions that they have for different events, with this month’s theme being Apple’icious. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio what they will be doing at the events.
“We will be making apple launchers, learning about the life cycle of the apple trees, taste testing different varieties of apples, and also doing some apple juggling.”
Van Horn mentions that on September 15th, they will be at the Menlo Public Library from 1:30-2:30pm, and the Stuart Public Library from 2-4pm. She adds that they will also be at the Bayard Public Library from 4-5pm on September 17th, and the Panora Public Library from 4-5pm.
