The Greene County Invitational Cross-Country Meet is today at Spring Lake State Park northeast of Jefferson today. Middle school races start at 4:30 p.m., followed by races for high school runners. The meet is coed with eight teams scheduled to participate.

Conditions are expected to be hot and dry, so athletes and fans are asked to plan accordingly. There are several shaded areas along the course for fans and parking should be ample, although it is spread out over a large area.

Coach Jeff Lamoureux’s Rams have been in two meets prior to today and junior Brady Carstensen has led the boys’ team so far. Sophomore Rylee Mowrer has been the leader for the girls.
