The Stuart Chamber of Commerce includes some familiar faces, though some may be newer to the organization than others.

Coordinator Kelsey Varley began working in the position last October, and says she has been enjoying the work so far. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio what does as the Coordinator.

“I get to support our local businesses and community by keeping members informed and making sure chamber programs run smoothly. I also work closely with our officers and committees on projects that bring businesses and the community together. Things like networking, school partnerships, or any other local programs.”

Varley mentions she’s originally from Southwest Iowa, but that her husband is from the Stuart area. She adds that another reason she enjoys the work is being able to use her marketing degree from Iowa State University to help the Chamber and the community.
