The 33rd Annual Friends of the Jefferson Public Library Fall Used Book Sale is underway.

Youth Services Librarian Bailey Mount says for today only is just for Friends members, which is now easier to do than ever before.

“Wendy Taylor, the vice president of our Friends Board, has really been making some moves to help people get memberships quicker so they can get that exclusive access. So if you head to the Friends of the Library section of our website, you can actually sign up to be a Friends member, right now (and) online. Good job Wendy and I’m excited to see our current Friends members and maybe some new Friends members.”

According to the Friends, following today, the fundraiser is then opened to the public tomorrow through next Saturday, with that final day being “Bargain Day” where people can load up a paper bag full of books for $5. The Fall Used Book Sale takes place in the basement of the library and will close each day at 6pm and at 5:30pm on Fridays.
