Freshman Ava Hinote is the only Greene County High School student swimming in an athletic sharing agreement with Carroll High during the girls’ season. The Tigers opened their season last night in a dual meet at Des Moines Lincoln with the Railsplitters winning, 90-84.

Hinote was  on the first place 200 yard freestyle relay, was second individually in the 50 yard freestyle and third in the 100 butterfly, a well as being on the second place 400 freestyle relay.
