On Thursday, the #13 Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs traveled to ADM High School in Adel to face off against the ADM Tigers. Dallas Center-Grimes would leave Adel victorious, defeating the Tigers 3-1.

The final set would go down to the wire as both teams would refuse to give up, resulting in a final score of 26-24. Sophomore Anna Jackson would continue to find success defensively with multiple digs, while Avery Edginton and Ava Smid would continue the attack against the Tigers. ADM would win one set against DCG, before the Mustangs would win two in a row to defeat the Tigers.

Mustang volleyball returns to action on Saturday for the Southeast Polk Invitational. The action is set to begin at 8am.
