The Perry City Council will meet in regular session on Monday.

The council will be entering into a closed session pursuant to Iowa Code to discuss action on the employment of City Administrator Sven Peterson. Items on the agenda seeking approval include a resolution to set a date for a public hearing on the Urban Renewal Plan Amendment for the Perry Urban Renewal Area, set a date of meeting at which it is proposed to accept a development agreement with A.D.R. Axles USA Incorporated to include the annual appropriation tax increment payments, and a resolution to accept a Professional Services Agreement with Bolton and Menk for the Soumas Avenue Extension Design.

Additional items on the agenda up for approval include a resolution for a Professional Services Agreement with Bolton and Menk for the Southeast Area Planning Services, fixing a time and place for Nuisance Abatement Hearing, a resolution to make appointments for the Perry City Council Standing Committees, and a resolution to make council appointments for Mayor Pro Tem.

The meeting is open to the public and is taking place on Monday inside the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building, 1102 Willis Avenue, in Perry at 6pm. There will be a virtual option available for those who can’t attend the meeting (see below).
