On Saturday, the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs volleyball team traveled to Pleasant Hill for the Southeast Polk Invitational. DCG would go 500 in the tournament, winning two matches and falling in two matches.

The #13 ranked Mustangs would start off the morning defeating Southeast Polk 2-0 to advance to face off against the #3 ranked Waukee Warriors. The Mustangs would fall to Waukee 2-0, before coming back to defeat Marshalltown 2-0 to advance to the Silver Bracket Championship. DCG would battle in the championship but would fall to Norwalk 2-0.

After a long day of action, Mustang volleyball returns home on Tuesday, to play host to the Pella Christian Eagles.
