This week is Homecoming for the Panorama School District.

Superintendent Kasey Huebener says that Homecoming is always a fun time for the students to be able to do fun things during the week, and celebrate as well. He reminds students to make sure that they keep competitions and celebrations light-hearted and fun, and to do so respectfully and mindfully. Huebner explains that he isn’t worried about students acting out or inappropriately, as they have historically been very well behaved for their events.

Dress up days for homecoming this week are all movie themed to follow the overall theme of “Watch us Win.” Monday is “Sleeping Beauty,” where students dress in pajamas, while Tuesday is “Parent Trap,” with students dressing up as twins. Wednesday is “Captain America,” and patriotic or America themed clothing is suggested, while Thursday is “Teen Beach,” so students will want to dress in tropical attire. Friday is themed after “Friday Night Lights,” and it will be time to show Panther Spirit by wearing blue, white and all things Panorama.

Huebner says that the parade on Friday will start at 12:30pm, and go from the high school to the football field, where there will be a pep rally. He adds that the Homecoming dance will be Saturday night to end the celebrations.
