Scarlett Putney joined other dancers from across the state who were invited to perform during halftime of the University of Iowa football game on Saturday. Putney represented the Wildcat dance team for West Central Valley.

Now entering her sophomore season, Putney found success as a freshman, qualifying for the state solo dance competitions held at the Casey’s Center. Putney continued to dance during the off season, earning a semi finals finish at the Bill Riley Talent Contest at the Iowa State Fair in August.

Putney and the Wildcat dance team look towards and exciting season as Putney performed in Iowa City yesterday during halftime of the Hawkeyes football game.
