Tina Lutterman is the third volleyball coach at Perry in three years.  The Jayettes have opened the year 0-10.

A big focus for Perry in 2025 is having a more sophisticated attack.  Setter, Karagyn Whelchel, mentions the offense is more complex.

“She has helped us implement new strategies so pushing us to make more strategic plays and outsmarting other teams rather than just doing what we did in the past.”

Outside Hitter, Charity Parnell echoed those sentiments.

“I think she’s doing a great job coaching everybody implementing new strategies to amp up the volleyball level.”

Whelchel and Parnell are both seniors for Perry and have seen their fair share of coaches the last few years.

The record isn’t quite where the the team would like it as the Jayettes will return to the court Monday hosting West Marshall.
