The Perry offense had their best game of the season on Friday as they scored 28 points at Dewey Field.  The Bluejays would drop the game to Woodward-Granger 42-28, but it was good to see Perry reach the end zone four times.

Perry used explosive plays all evening in the upset attempt of the second ranked Hawks in 2A.  Nadir Ouahbi set a new school record on a 98 yard rushing touchdown.  The junior finished with 164 yards on the ground.  Ian Fisher had his best game passing with 114 yards including a 53 yard strike to Rylan Modlin for a score.  The Bluejays scored on fourth and 26 off a fake punt.  Michael Bahtagic completed a 41 yard pass to Owen Zander as Perry caught Woodward-Granger off guard.  Special teams added another score on an 87 yard kick return by Phillip Gray.

The Perry defense struggled to stop the rushing attack all night.  Zander had a team high ten tackles.  He also recorded an interception.

The 0-3 Bluejays travel to the 1-2 Des Moines North Polar Bears.  Kickoff set for 7P on Thursday with KDLS having the radio coverage at 6:45P.
