The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Cross Country Teams ran exceptionally well at the Mike Carr Invitational in Huxley, leading to top-3 finishes on Monday.
The Tiger varsity girls racked up 108 points for 3rd place out of 12 teams, while the varsity boys won the meet with 46 points ahead of Bondurant-Farrar and Ballard in a field of 15 schools. In the girls race, ADM sophomore Elliotte Von Roden placed 7th overall with a time of 20 minutes and 59 seconds, with junior Allie Eggleston coming in 15th at 21:18, and junior Addy Bjork getting 21st at 22:10. For the boys, Tiger senior Ty Landphair notched 3rd overall with a time of 17:14, with junior Ty Miller in 4th at 17:31, and junior Max Marple marking 8th at 17:52.
ADM will have the rest of the week of racing to enjoy Homecoming and will be racing next at the Steve McDermott Invitational at Maytag Park in Newton next Tuesday, September 23rd. For the full results of the Mike Carr Invite, click on the respective link.
