Perry swimming travels to north to Algona tonight for a meet at the Algona YMCA.  This will be the third time the Jayettes and Bulldogs share the pool as the competitions begins at 5:30P

Algona has won the last two meetings with Perry.  The Jayettes fell 78-71 in the first meeting and 58-43 in the second.  Head Coach Jean Dowd knows her club will be the underdog tonight.

“Well we’re going to realize that they have divers and that’s going to score so we’ve got to overcome that obstacle as well and it’s just a matter of doing the best we can do and we’re going to put together the the best roster that we can based on our research and we’re going to go for the best.”

Despite it being an uphill battle the long time coach can’t wait to get there.

“We’re really looking forward to going to Algona because we’ve never been there before and I understand they’ve got a pretty awesome pool.”
