With the first day of fall on Monday, several businesses in the Perry community will celebrate the changing of the seasons early with open houses on Saturday.

According to Perry Chamber Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti, 17 companies are taking part and says that it will offer a good opportunity to stop in at many area retailers to purchase items at discounted prices. Pasutti highlights a special day for one of the participating merchants. 

“Perry Flowers by Donna Jean will be celebrating 35 years in business, starting out in Woodward and then coming to Perry. Fall is a great time, we’re kind of transitioning from summer into winter, maybe there’s some holiday stuff going on already, but fall is my favorite season, but it will just be a nice way for the merchants to kind of get together and collaborate.”

Pasutti mentions that most of the businesses are located along 2nd Street, with a few exceptions. She adds that the general time frame will be from 10am-3pm on Saturday, but some stores may vary in hours of operation. The full list of organizations participating can be found below.
