Saturday the Casey Service Club is holding a fundraiser event.

Service Club Member Stacy Wedemeyer says that it has been some time since they held one of their bingo events, and they decided to pair that with burgers and beer. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio what they will use the proceeds from this fundraiser on.

“Any funds that we raise throughout the year and during these events will go towards either city park improvements, (or) any improvements around town that the Service Club entails or cleans up. Also, we have a Casey Service Club Scholarship fund that we give out yearly to graduating seniors.”

Wedemeyer mentions that the event will be at the Casey Community Building, and that individuals from all over can attend. She adds that the dinner of burgers, hot dogs, pasta salad, chips and drinks will be for a free will donation, with meals served starting at 5pm. Bingo will follow at 6:30pm, and cards are available two cards for $1.
