On Friday, the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs advanced to 3-1 after defeating the Des Moines Roosevelt Roughriders 39-6 at Mediacom Stadium.

The Mustangs got the lead early as Chase Engel would find Chase Heitland in the end zone for the first touchdown of the night. In the second quarter, DCG would score 13 points, as Dylan Lackland would notch in two field goals for 6 points, and Wyatt Valenta would have a pick six to total 13 points leading 19-6 going into halftime. In the third, Ethan Carlson would score an eight yard rushing touchdown, DCG  would have another defensive pick six before scoring one final touchdown in the fourth as Ozzy Grimm would rush in from two yards to bring the final score to 39-6.

Its now homecoming week for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs who now sit at 3-1 after defeating the Roughriders 39-6. The Mustangs play host to the Waukee Warriors on Friday for the Mustang homecoming game.
