The leader of the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Volleyball Team gives his assessment of how the first half of the season has gone.

The Tigers have played in 20 games, resulting in a record of 15-5. Head Coach Trevor Irwin shares that the year has been a positive one so far, as he’s liking what he’s seeing from both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Despite the great start, Irwin says that there is a lot of room for improvement.

“Still working on trying to strive and be us in some of those high competitive matches, but we’re playing good volleyball here as we look at September, but we’re definitely looking to continue that growth (and) make sure that we are playing the best Tiger volleyball towards the end of the season.”

ADM picked up their second Raccoon River Conference win of the year in their last match this past Tuesday versus North Polk in three sets. The Tigers are gearing up for another conference game on Tuesday, as they travel to Huxley to face off against Ballard at 7:15pm.
