Tight End Jesse Miller

2023 Greene County High School graduate Jesse Miller is a third year tight end on the University of South Dakota football team. The Coyotes, or ‘Yotes, as they are also known, hosted the Drake University Bulldogs on Saturday inside the Dakota Dome in Vermillion. USD won 42-21 after building 42-7 lead through three quarters of play. Miller caught one pass for two yards vs. Drake.

The ‘Yotes are 2-2 on the season, both wins at home, after starting 0-2 against FBS teams Iowa State and Lamar (TX) on the road. A stiff test exists on Saturday for top 15 ranked USD when they go back on the road to face perennial power North Dakota State.

Tyler Miller, Jesse’s older brother, and his Iowa State teammates, had a bye week. The Cyclones will host Arizona on Saturday afternoon at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames.
