Nadir Ouahbi is putting together an amazing junior campaign for Perry football.  The Bluejays hadn’t had a rusher surpass 500 yards in over a decade.  Ouahbi has already done that in four games.

Perry is coming off a 30-13 loss to Des Moines North last Thursday.  The Bluejay running back had a career high 189 yards and scored two TD’s in the game.  That’s his third straight game with over 100 yards on the ground.  The last ball carrier to reach the 500 yard club was Will Whiton in 2014.  The dual threat  quarterback had 1165 yards on the ground in his senior year.

Perry sits at 0-4 as Homecoming Week begins.  The Bluejays begin District play with Greene County coming to Dewey Field Friday as the long time rivals fight for the Cowbell.  KDLS and the Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network will have the game Friday night.
