Funeral services for  Richard “Dick” Devee Stone, age 79, of Bayard, will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Coon Rapids.    Burial will be in the Union Township Cemetery near Coon Rapids.

     Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Coon Rapids from 5 – 7 P.M. on Wednesday.  Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 – 10:15 A.M. prior to the service.

     Dick is survived by his wife Val of Bayard; three sisters: Pat Reineke of Columbus, NE, Judy Goodwin of Coon Rapids, and Kay Brannan (Dick) of Ankeny; two brothers: Donnie Stone (Shirley) of Minburn, IA, and Jack Stone (Jeannie) of Bayard; and his father and mother-in-law David and Janet Forkner of Scranton.  Dick is also survived by the following in-laws: Joyce Stone of Bayard, Reta Stone of Granger, Eugene Scheuermann of West Des Moines, Gary Hunter of St. Charles, IA, Jeanise Pedersen (Jeremiah) of Jefferson, and Regina Forkner of Scranton.
