Another ribbon-cutting is scheduled for Friday in downtown Jefferson.

After a ribbon-cutting held for Journey Financial last week for their new location on the southeast corner of the square, Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich says another ribbon-cutting will be done next door at the new location of Greater Life Chiropractic and Dr. Philip Heisterkamp. Wetrich invites everyone to the Java and Juice program on Friday at 9:30am, with the ribbon-cutting to follow around 10am. 

Wetrich points out that Dr. Philip has lots of new services that need additional space, as he also received one of Jefferson Matters’ Business Growth grants from the Economic Vitality Team.

“Some of these projects are bigger than others and that will kind of determine a little bit about what that committee awards out of that $5,000 matching opportunity. And certainly, Philip’s new growth endeavors were mighty and a lot to bite off for him. So we’re happy to be able to kind of be a part of helping him get his new chapter started.” 

Friday’s program is free and open to the public.
