Paton-Churdan’s volleyball team plays tonight at Exira-Elk Horn-Kimiballton in Rolling Valley Activities Conference play. Coach Nikki Uebel’s Rockets have been hit with injuries as of late and will be trying to stop a five match losing streak. The Rockets are 1-5 overall and 0-2 in conference play. The Spartans have a 5-10 overall record and are 1-1 in the Rolling Valley.

Coach Uebel has had a few practices to work on adjustments due to injuries to starters Kaliyah Minnihan and Ella Tasler. Some younger players have been elevated from the junior varsity squad and the coach told Raccoon Valley Radio she’s getting contributions from those players, as well as others.

After tonight, the Rockets host conference opponent Boyer Valley (Dunlap) in Churdan on Thursday, then travel to Perry on Saturday for a triangular vs. the Jayettes and Panorama.
