The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Cross Country Teams raced exceptionally well in Newton on Tuesday, with the varsity girls winning and the boys finishing in second place.

For the Tiger girls, ADM tallied 28 total points to skate by Albia who finished with 44, then the boys racked up 49 points behind Grinnell’s 35 to win the meet. Individually on the girls side, sophomore Elliotte Von Roden was 3rd overall with a time of 21:04, with junior Allie Eggleston in 4th at 21:24, and junior Lydia Georgick at 23:03 in 6th place. The boys saw senior Ty Landphair acquire 5th at a time of 17:33, as junior Ty Miller posted a 17:50 in 9th overall, and junior Max Marple in 10th at 18:09.

The Tigers JV Boys squad dominated by scoring 15 points by nabbing the first six places, and seven of the top 10. ADM’s JV Girls notched 23 points to win their race versus Dallas Center-Grimes. The Tigers will now be idle until next Thursday, October 2nd when they compete at the Leon Fox Invite at the Perry Golf & Country Club.
