The City of Adel is in search of a new administrator, as Mayor Jim Peters details how to apply for the position.

Peters tells Raccoon Valley Radio that former City Administrator Anthony Brown resigned from his position at the end of June this year after 10 years of service. He says the Adel Personnel Committee agreed to hire a search firm, Theia Management Consultants, to seek candidates to replace Brown. Peters describes that the consultants interviewed Adel city staff as well as Council members and then created a city administrator profile to share information relating to the community. He elaborates on the type of city administrator the firm is seeking.

“We’re just looking for someone that’s dynamic and can represent the city in all types of situations and be visible in the community. We think that Adel is an attractive place and are looking forward to receiving applications from qualified candidates that are eager for a position like Adel.”
