The Dallas County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be providing a workshop next week to help people with preparing for grant applications.
According to Dallas County Extension Marketing Manager Sarah Wood, they are offering a Grant Writing 101 course that will give participants skills revolving around grant writing. She dives more into the concept of what people will be taking away from the program.
“To help them to know how they can secure funding and just hands on training. The participants will learn how to write a grant application, and then how you can make those stand out. And just to help with some different project concepts and funding proposals.”
Wood outlines that the course will cost $40 for those who’d like to participate and includes a boxed lunch. She says the program is taking place at the new Learning Center in Perry at the Towncraft Gallery, 1122 Willis Avenue, this Wednesday from noon to 3:30pm.
