One of Iowa’s largest farmer-owned cooperatives has a new leader at the helm.
According to Landus Cooperative, the organization has hired Eric Heismeyer as the new Chief Executive Officer. Landus Cooperative notes that Heismeyer has plenty of experience in his tenure with Bunge and Archer Daniels Midland, where he was in senior leadership roles in operations, commercial strategy, and global supply chains.
The organization says Heismeyer will lead Landus Cooperative during the 2026 Operating Plan which focuses on aligning people’s performances with five strategic initiatives of serving farm-owner, enabling employees to be their best, execute with operational rigor across the enterprise, operating with financial discipline to improve performance, and driving sustainable growth.
Heismeyer succeeds Matt Carstens, who resigned on April 4th.
