The Panora Chamber of Commerce held several ribbon cutting ceremonies for new members on Wednesday.

Chamber Coordinator Erica Matthies says that they held ceremonies for Farmers State Bank in Yale, and Bump and Twillman Law Firm at their office in Panora. She shares that there were also three different groups that held ribbon cutting ceremonies at the Gazebo on the Panora square, including the Panorama Parent/Teacher Organization. PTO President Abby Pudenz tells Raccoon Valley Radio why they wanted to join the Chamber.

“We wanted to get our name out there in the community, and (the) Panora Chamber supports so many local businesses and other organizations and we wanted to be a part of that.”

Matthies mentions that the final two ceremonies were for Griffen Interiors and DM Law. She adds that the Chamber is excited for the new members.
