The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Volleyball Team were edged out by Ballard on the road Tuesday, to give them their sixth loss overall and first within the Raccoon River Conference this season.

The Bombers defeated the Tigers in three sets, with Ballard taking the first match 25-22, then won the second 25-19, and skated by ADM in the third with a 25-23 victory. With the win, the Bombers have won six of their past seven games, improving to 10-5 on the season (4-0 RRC), while the Tigers fall to 15-6 on the year and have lost their first conference game since the 2022-23 season, when they were beaten by North Polk in four sets.

Ballard will be playing in the Nevada Varsity Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, while ADM will return to the court this coming Tuesday in Adel taking on Gilbert for Teacher Appreciation Night.
