The Jefferson Kiwanis Club recently made a donation to another non-profit organization that provides life-saving services.
According to the Kiwanis Club, they gave $500 to the Greene County Medical Center Foundation. The Foundation says the money will be used for enhancements in the Emergency Room for pediatric patients to create a more welcoming environment for youth that need medical procedures. The Foundation notes that they will purchase books, teddy bears and other child-friendly decor to ease kid’s fears and make it more comfortable for them.
According to the Kiwanis Club, this kind of donation adheres to their mission of serving children in the Jefferson community.
