The Adel Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up to start the fall indoor pickleball league, and registration closes soon.

According to Recreation Supervisor Ramona Dillinger, people are welcome to sign up for the Indoor Men’s and Women’s Pickleball League that will start in mid-October. She notes that teams will consist of two individuals and will cost $50 per team. Dillinger emphasizes that the leagues are for adults that are at least 18 years old and out of high school. She states the season begins on October 12th and will run through December 14th, and finishes with an end-of-season tournament. 

Dillinger indicates that Adel Parks and Rec Department is exploring the possibility of doing a spring and summer league, but will provide more information as that gets closer. She concludes that registration closes this coming Friday and that all the games will be held in the south gymnasium at Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School. To register, click here.
