The AC/GC Chargers had some strong showings in the last week across their fall sports.

The volleyball team started things off Tuesday night, when they took down the Pleasantville Trojans in four sets, winning the first, dropping the second, and then taking the next two. Memorable performances came from all over, with great serves, assists, kills and digs. Then Thursday night the cross country teams hosted their first meet of the season, and had four medal placements, with junior Preston Kent taking the top overall spot for the boys race, and several members setting new personal records. Everything finished up Friday night, as the football team went to Madrid and took care of business, defeating the Tigers 33-15. The offensive front was led by senior fullback Brexton Schneider, who had nearly 175 yards that led to three offensive touchdowns, plus another touchdown off a blocked punt.
