A fundraising opportunity for the Mary J Barnett Memorial Library is wrapping up Wednesday.
Library Director Jerri Hawkins says that they’ve been running the fundraiser since August as a way to raise money for projects around the library. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio what they have going on.
“We have an ongoing book sale. So if you’re looking for some books, we have that going on here at the library as well right now, and that’s a freewill offering.”
Hawkins mentions that this is an opportunity for patrons to maybe find a title they’d like to add to their collection. She adds they have books from all kinds of genres, like children’s books, gardening books, biographies, and much more.
