A two vehicle crash in Greene County Saturday evening results in minor injuries and an arrest on an out of county warrant. 

According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, a Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the scene at 5:06pm on K Avenue and 270th Street. The crash report states that Michael Garnett of Perry was driving a 2008 Mercury Millan and headed south on K Avenue and his vehicle was struck by a 2025 Nissan Sentra that was traveling west on 270th Street and driven by Jesse Perrett of Scranton. 

The Sheriff’s Office says both vehicles were totaled in the crash and one passenger in both vehicles suffered only minor injuries. The deputy cited Perrett for failure to yield the right of way, while Garnett was cited for no insurance-accident and driving with a suspended license. Additionally, Garnett was arrested on a warrant from Polk County.
