The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Volleyball Team is seeking win number 16, as Gilbert will be making their way into Adel for a critical Raccoon River Conference matchup.

It will be a battle of the Tigers, as Gilbert is 10-6 on the year (4-0 RRC), and ADM is 15-6 (2-1 RRC). Gilbert is riding a five-game winning streak with victories over Woodward-Granger, Carlisle, Boone, Winterset, and Mason City, while ADM has lost three of its past five games, including a three-set defeat versus Ballard last Tuesday, September 23rd.

Statistically, ADM has 473 assists compared to Gilbert’s 424, while ADM also leads in the kills category 502 to 435. ADM sophomore Ella Subbert comes into the match with 38 blocks on the year, and it’s Gilbert junior Addie Winter at 23 blocks overall. ADM leads the historical series 14-3 and has taken the past nine games, as they look to give Gilbert their first conference loss of the season. The game will set off from ADM’s North Gym in Adel at 7:15pm tonight.
