The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.

The Board will consider for approval a payroll change notice for Caleb Rasmussen as the new Assistant to the County Engineer, and a payroll change notice for Adair and Guthrie County Emergency Management Agency Coordinator Jeremy Cooper. They will then consider for approval the comprehensive plan agreement after hearing from Region XII Council of Governments representatives Chris Whitaker and Conner Womacks.

The Board will also hear department updates from Guthrie County Sheriff Matt Harmann, and County Engineer Josh Sebern, who will discuss the County Road P28 project and discuss an update on his department’s pay structure. The Board will then consider for approval a resolution designating voting representatives for the Iowa State Association of Counties.

The meeting will begin at 9am in the Board of Supervisors room in the Guthrie County Courthouse. For those unable to attend in person, there is a digital option available via Microsoft Teams. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results from the meeting tomorrow.
