Perry swimming returns to the McCreary Center tonight to host Newton.  The Jayettes and Cardinals will take the pool at 6:30P as Perry swims at home for the first time in nearly a month.

The Jayettes are coming off two losses last Thursday in Algona.  A tough dual with Fort Dodge saw Perry fall 75-72 while Algona won 99-63.  The quartet of Aleah Karolus, Ellie Hughes, Cali Hernandez, and Kilee Hughes claimed first in the Medley Relay and 400 Freestyle Relay.  Karolus added gold in the 100 and 200 Freestyle.  Ellie Hughes was also victorious in the 200 IM.

Head Coach Jean Dowd is looking forward to swimming at the McCreary Center for the first time since September 2.  Tonight was originally scheduled to be a triangular with Oskaloosa in attendance, but the Indians will no longer attend.  Coach Dowd isn’t familiar with Newton.

“They are kinda an unknown quantity so we’ll have to see what happens with that.”
