Perry volleyball travels to Nevada tonight for two Heart of Iowa matches.  The Jayettes will see the host Cubs and the Thunder from Grand View Christian.  First serve is at 5P with Perry and Nevada taking the court.

A wrinkle in the Heart of Iowa volleyball schedule has three of its member matching up tonight.  The conference continues to grow and to allow for schools to play more competitions a shift to triangulars will become the norm.  This evening will be a guinea pig and next year every conference date could be a triangular says Perry Coach and AD, Tina Lutterman.

The Cubs enter as a top three team in the HOIC.  The Jayettes haven’t beat Nevada since joining the conference in 2021.  Grand View Christian and Perry played for the first time last year and the Thunder spoiled Senior Night with a four set win.

Charitty Parnell leads the Perry attack with 78 kills.  Karagyn Whelchel just surpassed 100 assists on the season in the Saydel Tournament on Monday.  Libero, Yami Gonzalez bolsters the defense with 91 digs so far on the year
