Perry swimming will have one of their most competitive meets this Saturday at the Ames Invite.  The Jayettes will take the pool at Ames High School.

Perry is coming off a 14 point loss Tuesday night against Newton.  Aleah Karolus and Ellie Hughes won individual races as Perry finished in top spot in four of the events.  Head Coach Jean Dowd mentioned this was the closest meet with the Cardinals in a long time.  Coach Dowd added she has had the meet this Saturday circled on the calendar for awhile.

“That gives our girls a chance to swim at a possible Regional site for us so that meet experience.  It’s a great pool and they’ll be fast people there from other teams but it gives them a chance to try out that potential Regional site.”

The Jayettes travel to the Ames Invite on Saturday with swimming events starting at noon.
